Terms and conditions

 


• A non refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure your booking, no order will commence till payment is made.
 

• Full payment is due no later than 14 days prior to delivery or pick up. We do not accept payments of check or money order only (bank transfer, cash)
 

• Upon receipt of your order you will be emailed a copy of your invoice.  Please ensure all contact details, personal information, spelling of names, delivery/collection dates and times and any requested changes have been properly documented on your invoice.
 

• We are not responsible for any damage to the cake after setup is complete.  You are responsible for providing an appropriate and secure table and environment for the cake(s).  Cakes are heavy and require a sturdy table, and optimal room temperature of 75 degrees or below.
 

• If you or your representative elect to pick up and set up the cake, you assume all liability and responsibility for the condition of the cake once it leaves Amy’s Ambrosial Delights possession.
 

• Please notify our staff immediately of any errors on your invoice.  Failing to notify us of any errors may result in additional charges where alterations are necessary after your order has been completed.
 

• Wedding cakes or similar must be booked 3 months in advance.
 

• If you cancel your order your deposit will not be refunded.  At the discretion of management and dependent on the circumstances, a credit note may be issued less an admin fee equal to 20% of the total cost of the order.
 

• If you cancel your order within 14 days of the delivery or collection date there will be no credit issued and any balances outstanding will be due and payable.
 

• Please note that any credit notes issued are done so as a good will gesture and at the discretion of management.
 

• Any changes made to your order within 14 days of collection or delivery will incur a surcharge, depending on the change requested.  In most cases we can accommodate changes, however at times it is not possible
 

• Design/Tasting appointments are held for most, but not all, cake orders. There is a non-refundable $50 deposit required for appointments, payable by cash on day of tasting. The $50 deposit will be deducted from the final cost of your cake
 

• We can not guarantee any cakes to be allergy free, including nuts, egg, or wheat.
 

• Performance of this agreement is contingent upon the ability of (your company name) to complete the agreement and is subject to labor disputes or strikes, accidents, Acts of God, and other causes beyond our control.
 

• On occasion we will photograph our cakes and we reserve the right to use any photographs for display or promotion without compensation to you
 

• Delivery and setup is priced from $20
